One of the best ways is with pet loss poems. They can communicate feelings and emotions in a far greater way than our own words. So have a look through our range of pet loss poems below.

The Moment That You Left Me

The moment that you left me

My heart split in two.

One side filled with memories

The other side died with you.

I often lay awake at night

When the world is fast asleep.

and take a walk down memory lane

With tears upon my cheek.

Remembering you is easy

I do it everyday.

But missing you is a heartache

That never goes away.

I hold you tightly within my heart

And there you will remain.

As my life goes on without you

But will never be the same.

  2. Beautiful poem Kathy but it made me cry. My boy is 15 now and I know his time here with me on this earth is coming to an end in the near future, I can't bear to think about it because it will break my heart. Losing your best dog friend is just as painful as losing a human being.
